Analyzing the concept of leisure and entertainment from Islamic point of view

Abstract
Modern, traditional and Islamic entertainment have points of commonality and difference that must be clearly defined in order to understand the Islamic rulings surrounding it. The present research, with descriptive analytical method, seeks to clarify the concepts of leisure and entertainment from the Islamic point of view. From the Islamic point of view, in the concept of entertainment, there is a sensual state and spending leisure time, which takes place voluntarily (actively or passively) without the dignity of profiting, and since Man has responsibility as long as he has reason, authority, knowledge and power. Entertainment should not be a way to free oneself from basic family, cultural, social and religious duties. In Islamic contexts, some words like Lahv and laab have a conceptual affinity with entertainment. In the revealed culture of Lahv, it has the conceptual components of entertainment; In addition, it is not inappropriate in itself. Playing also includes some conceptual elements of entertainment, and from the Islamic point of view, laab is not condemned by itself. The concept of lagv; But it has a negative conceptual load by itself, illegal entertainment is one of its examples
