In the modern time and with the prevalence of new communication tools, extensive values and normative changes developed; so that new understanding appeared against the Islamic understanding. Thus, describing Islamic understanding and presenting a role woman model in a hijab, regarding several understandings of this concept, is very essential. The present study enjoys the concept qualitative method to mine the concept networks of hijab and chastity in the thought system of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. In this examination, three comprehensive concepts of "chastity-based character maker", " symbolic wealth of policy and religion", and " revolutionaries of religious clothing" displays the symbolic (symbol-revolutionary) understanding. Regarding this understanding, on one hand, the hijab, as a religious and cultural-social symbol is the most obvious sign of Muslim women's identity in the national and international arenas and on the other hand, plays a symbolic role as a communicative media in the arena of different minds. Moreover, in this understanding, as well as emphasizing the chastity and hijab in different social arenas, the meaning of modest clothing and its symbolic dimensions such as resistance, the social-political battle of Iranian women was considered پوشش و حجاب، به‌ مانند پدیده‌‌ای اجتماعی، در چند دهه‌ی اخیر ایران، مناقشات و دگرگونی‌های گوناگونی را از سر گذرانده است. در دوران مدرن با افزایش ابزارهای جدید ارتباطی، دگرگونی ارزشی و هنجاری گسترده‌ای به‌تبع آن، در این گستره نمود یافت؛ به گونه‌ای که خوانش‌های جدیدی در برابر خوانش اسلامی بروز پیدا کرد؛ ازاین‌رو، تبیین خوانش اسلامی و نمایاندن الگوی زن تراز در پوشش و حجاب، باوجود چندگونگی در قرائت‌های گوناگون، بایستگی دارد. در این پژوهش با روش کیفی تحلیل مضمون، شبکه مضامین حجاب و عفاف در منظومه‌ی فکری آیت‌الله خامنه‌ای، واکاوی شد. در این واکاوی، سه مضمون فراگیر «شخصیت‌ساز مبتنی بر عفت»، «سرمایه نمادین سیاسی دینی» و «انقلابی‌گری پوشش دینی»، خوانش «سمبولیکی (نمادی- انقلابی)» را نشان می‌دهد. برابر این خوانش، حجاب از یک‌سو همچون مقوله‌ی دینی و نماد فرهنگی- اجتماعی، آشکارترین نشانه‌ی هویتی زن مسلمان در عرصه‌ی ملی و بین‌المللی است و از سویی دیگر، همچون یک رسانه‌ی ارتباطی، نقشی نمادین در عرصه‌ی کنش بین‌الاذهانی ایفا می‌کند. همچنین در این خوانش، در کنار تأکید بر حفظ عفت و حجاب زنان در عرصه‌های اجتماعی، معناداری پوشش و سویه‌های سمبولیکی آن چون سمبل مقاومت و مبارزه سیاسی اجتماعی زنان ایرانی مورد بازنمایی قرار گرفت https://gnoe.bou.ac.ir/article_72730_b477118a3eda691dd9e01af29d26572a.pdf
